This Kare ā-roto chart is a dual purpose resource. Firstly it shows 20 different emotions that children experience. Secondly it uses those illustrated emotions to teach the te reo and English name for each kare ā-roto. Being able to identify emotions is a major life skill. It enables the child to develop empathy, improve their self image and deal with anxiety.
